Sheridan's Hard Rock Quarries are based on the scenic Dorrigo Plateau. The volcanic history of the plateau has resulted in high quality basalt rock deposits, which when quarried, help to support our local roads and infrastructure projects on the Mid North Coast and Northern Tablelands .

AGGREGATES

We produce silica free 5mm, 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, 20mm agg products to suit a wide range of applications (drainage, driveways, asphalt, concrete, footpaths, garden paths, retaining walls, trenches, pipe bedding)

FILTER ROCKS

Ballast (19-63mm), Drainage rock (75-150mm), Gabion rock (100-250mm), Oversize scour rock for bridge abutments (300-500mm)

to suit a wide range of drainage and road maintenance applications. Other customised sizes can be produced on request.

ROAD BASE

20mm & 40mm DGB (road base)/DGS (road sub base): used for pavement construction for highways, gravel roads, road maintenance, filling potholes, etc.

CRUSHER DUST

Finely crushed aggregate <5mm which can be used for driveways, pathways and gardens. Crusher dust can also be used in electrical trenches, backfilling around sewer and storm water pipes

OUR LOCATIONS

Not only do we operate two quarries situated on the Dorrigo Plateau in the heart of the Mid-North Coast, we also utilise a stockpiling yard located in Coffs Harbour which allows ease of supply to projects along the NSW Coast.
